The Power of Fasting Together

God’s invitation through Joel is urgent and tender at the same time. “Even now”, even after all the wandering, all the disobedience, all the distance, return to Me. Not with half-hearted gestures, but with all your heart. And the pathway of return includes fasting: a physical expression of spiritual hunger for God’s presence.

There is unique power in corporate fasting. When an individual fasts, they align their heart with heaven. When a community fasts together, they create a spiritual atmosphere that invites breakthrough on a larger scale.
