Faithful in Waiting

Isaiah’s promise is one of the most beloved in all of Scripture, and it begins with a condition: those who hope in the Lord. Not those who hope in circumstances, not those who hope in other people, but those who place their hope squarely in God. These are the ones whose strength is renewed.

The eagle does not flap frantically to stay aloft; it rides the wind. In the same way, God invites you to stop striving and start trusting. Keep hoping, keep trusting, keep waiting. The One who promises to renew your strength is faithful, and He has never once been late.
