Praying Friends

Colossians 1:9

← Previous Day Next Day →

Today’s Scripture

“For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you.”

~ Colossians 1:9

Reflection

Paul never met many of the people he prayed for. He had only heard reports about the believers in Colossae, their faith, their love, their struggles. Yet from the moment he heard about them, he did not stop praying. This is the heart of intercession: praying for others not because it is convenient, but because it is essential.

One of the greatest gifts you can give another person is consistent, faithful prayer. Not a one-time mention before God, but an ongoing, daily lifting up of their name, their needs, and their walk with God. This kind of prayer changes lives, both theirs and yours.

ECO’s prayer network connects believers who are committed to lifting each other up in prayer. Who has God placed on your heart today? A friend struggling in their marriage? A single brother or sister who feels alone? An engaged couple navigating challenges? Pray for them. Your prayers carry more weight than you know.

Prayer

Lord, put people on my heart to pray for today. Help me be faithful in intercession for others. Amen.
