A New Beginning

Every new year carries the fragrance of possibility. God is not bound by what was, He is the God of what will be. As you step into this year, know that the Creator of the universe is actively doing something new in your life. The old patterns, the old wounds, the old limitations, they do not define your tomorrow.

Isaiah's words were spoken to a people who had known exile and heartbreak. Yet God declared He was making a way where there seemed to be none. Whatever wilderness you are walking through, in singleness, in marriage, in waiting, God is carving rivers of hope through dry ground.

Let this first day be an altar of surrender. Release last year's regrets and this year's anxieties to the One who holds all things together. He is doing a new thing. Will you perceive it?
