Every season in your life has a purpose. The season of singleness teaches you identity. The season of waiting builds your faith. The season of preparation shapes your character. And the new season God is ushering you into will require everything the previous seasons taught you.
You cannot step into your new season carrying the baggage of the old one. Some of us are holding onto relationships that God has already closed. Some are replaying failures that God has already forgiven. Some are stuck in comfort zones that God is calling us out of.
To enter your new season, you must be willing to let go of what was, even the good things, to embrace what God has next.
1. Holy Restlessness, Something inside you knows there is more. You cannot settle for where you are.
2. Closed Doors, God sometimes closes what we thought was permanent to redirect us to something better.
3. New Desires, The things you used to want no longer satisfy. God is shifting your appetite toward His purposes.
4. New Connections, God brings new people into your life who carry the assignment for your next season.
5. A Fresh Word, God speaks a new word over your life through Scripture, prayer, or confirmation from others.
Your new season requires new faith, new obedience, and new surrender. God is not asking you to have it all figured out, He is asking you to trust Him one step at a time.
Lord, we step into this new season with faith, expectation, and surrender. We release the old, the hurts, the failures, the comfort zones, and we embrace the new thing You are doing. Open doors that no one can shut. Close doors that need to be closed. Align our steps with Your purpose. This is our new season, and we receive it with open hands and open hearts. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
