Opening Prayer

Father God, tonight we ask You to move us from hearing to doing, from faith to action, from words to works. Show us what it means to be Your hands and feet in a hurting world. Break our hearts for what breaks Yours. Ignite a fire in us to serve, to give, to love, not in theory, but in action. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Faith Without Works Is Dead

Love is not just a feeling, it is a verb. God did not just say He loved us; He showed it. He sent His Son. He fed the hungry. He healed the sick. He visited the prisoner. And He calls us to do the same.

What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead. ~ James 2:14-17

Community Support, Meal support, caregiver assistance, grief support, prayer network, and financial help for families in crisis.

The King will reply, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” ~ Matthew 25:40

Five Ways You Can Put Love in Action

1. Pray, Cover our outreach teams and the communities we serve in prayer. Prayer is the foundation of every act of love.

2. Give, Your donations fund meals, supplies, transportation, and mission trips that change lives. Even $25 provides a care basket for a hospital patient.

3. Volunteer, Join us at local outreach events, hospital visits, or community gatherings. Your presence is a ministry.

4. Donate Goods, Clothing, food, hygiene products, school supplies, and wedding dresses are always needed.

5. Spread the Word, Share our mission with your church, workplace, and social media. Awareness opens doors.

Dear children, let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth. ~ 1 John 3:18

Love in Action in Your Own Life

Love in action is not just what we do overseas or at outreach events. It is how we treat our spouse at the end of a long day. It is how we encourage a friend who is struggling. It is how we forgive someone who hurt us. It is how we show up for the people God has placed in our lives, consistently, sacrificially, and intentionally.

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up. ~ Galatians 6:9

Closing Prayer

Lord, we do not want to be hearers only, we want to be doers of Your Word. Give us eyes to see the needs around us, hands willing to serve, and hearts overflowing with Your love. Use ECO to be a beacon of love in action, in Haiti, in hospitals, in our communities, and in our homes. May the world see Your love through our works. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
