Opening Prayer
Lord, we come before You tonight seeking Your wisdom for dating. Help us to date with faith, with prayer, with heart, with purpose, with values, and with intention. Keep You at the center of every relationship we enter. Guard our hearts and guide our steps. In Jesus' name, Amen.
What is Dating?
“Dating” is defined as two people getting to know each other and moving toward a relationship.

Dating With Faith!

Dating With Faith!
Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? Or what does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people! (2 Corinthians 6:14-16)
Dating With Prayer!
Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (Psalms 25:5)
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. (James 1:5)
Dating With Heart!
But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.” (1 Samuel 16:7)
Dating With Purpose!
The Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a companion for him who corresponds to him.” (Genesis 2:18)
Therefore, encourage one another and build each other up, just as, in fact, you are doing.
(1 Thessalonians 5:11)
Dating In Pursuing God Christ First!
Acknowledge him in all your ways, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:6)
“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field.” (Matthew 13:44)
Dating With Values!
“The one who associates with the wise grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm.” (Proverbs 13:20)
Dating With Intention!
A wife is bound as long as her husband is living. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes (only someone in the Lord) (1 Corinthians 7:39)

Closing Prayer
Lord, teach us to date with faith, prayer, heart, purpose, and intention. Help us to pursue You first and trust that You will direct our paths to the right person. Guard our hearts, sharpen our values, and give us the patience to wait for someone who shares our love for You. May every step of our dating journey honor You. In Jesus' name, Amen.
