The Mystery of Birth and Rebirth!
Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.
How can someone be born when they are old? Nicodemus asked. Surely, they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born! Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit. You should not be surprised at my saying, ‘You must be born again. (John 3:4-7)

Jacob became Israel, a prince with God (Genesis 32:28).
2. Authority Shift: Power Over the Past

For those God foreknew he also predestined to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters. (Romans 8:29)

A God-ordained marriage is not just a contract, but a divine rebirth.
Your love must be tested, purified, and strengthened by the Holy Spirit.
A reborn marriage is one where two people are constantly renewed in Christ.
Spiritual Warfare in Rebirth!
Rebirth Requires Warfare: Overcoming the Enemies of Transformation
The Spirit of Familiarity, People who knew you before will resist the new you.
The Spirit of Delay, The enemy fights against spiritual rebirth to keep you in cycles.
The Spirit of Comfort, Many resist rebirth because the old way feels easier.
The Spirit of Distraction, The devil will keep you busy with the wrong pursuits to prevent transformation.
The Fruit of Rebirth!
The Fruit of Rebirth: Living as a New Creation
Walking in the Spirit
A reborn believer no longer walks by the desires of the flesh but by the Spirit (Galatians 5:16-17).
The evidence of our rebirth is the fruit of the Spirit:
Love: Unselfish, Christlike love.
Joy: A deep, abiding gladness.
Peace: A heart free from fear and worry.
Patience: Enduring hardships with faith.
Kindness & Goodness: Serving others with a pure heart.
Faithfulness: Steadfast loyalty to God.
Gentleness: A spirit of humility and tenderness.
Self-Control: Mastering one’s desires and actions.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things, there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)
Closing Prayer
Lord, we thank You that rebirth is not just a one-time event but a continuous transformation. Give us new hearts, new spirits, and new purpose. Help us to overcome the spirit of familiarity, delay, comfort, and distraction. We choose to walk in the Spirit and bear the fruit of our rebirth, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
