Growing in Every Season

Today’s Scripture

“But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.”

~ 2 Peter 3:18

Reflection

Spiritual growth is not optional, it is the evidence of a living faith. A tree that stops growing has started dying. In the same way, a believer who stops growing is slowly drifting away from the fullness God has planned for them.

Growth happens in seasons. Sometimes it is rapid and exciting, new revelation, fresh anointing, visible fruit. Other times it is slow and hidden, roots deepening underground where no one can see. Both seasons are essential.

The key to growth is intentionality. You grow by feeding on God’s Word daily, not just when you feel like it. You grow by staying in community, even when it is hard. You grow by obeying God in the small things, which prepares you for the big things.

Do not compare your growth to someone else’s. Your journey with God is unique. What matters is that you are moving forward, one step, one prayer, one act of obedience at a time.

Prayer

Lord, I want to keep growing in You. Do not let me become stagnant or complacent. Give me a hunger for Your Word, a desire for Your presence, and the discipline to pursue You daily. Grow me in grace, knowledge, and character so that my life brings You glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
